Meet Our Doctors

Tyler Bingham, DMD

I couldn’t be more impressed with Dr. Bingham. From the welcoming atmosphere to the expert dental team, everything was perfect. This is hands down the best dentistry experience I’ve had.

After attending the University of Louisville for his dental training Dr. Bingham began practicing in 2019 where he has worked in both Texas and Arizona since. While he has been practicing Dr. Bingham has focused on staying at the forefront of dentistry with continuing education and training on all the most up to date technology available in the dental office. This includes everything involving implants, 3D printing, and beyond. Dr. Bingham and his wife, Mindy, have four children at home that keep them very busy. The Bingham family loves to work together to give back to the community and have participated in service missions across the world in countries such as Ethiopia, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. In his remaining time Dr. Bingham focuses on training for his next Ironman race or marathon. He has been lucky enough to race in the Boston marathon multiple times and compete in the Ironman world championships. Dr. Bingham is proud to be a part of the horizon dental group and honored to be able to serve the community of Prescott and the surrounding vicinity.

Alex Burr, DMD

Dr. Burr is the best dentist I have ever had. Not only is he a good dentist but he is so genuinely kind he just puts me at ease no matter what is going on with my teeth.

Dr. Alex Burr is originally from Wyoming, where he developed a strong appreciation for hard work, community, and the outdoors. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physiology from the University of Wyoming before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the A.T. Still University – Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, graduating at the top of his class. During dental school, Dr. Burr demonstrated a commitment to both academic excellence and mentorship, serving as a simulation clinic tutor in his second year, where he helped teach and guide both his classmates and junior students. He was consistently recognized for his achievements and professionalism, receiving the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Certificate of Recognition each year of dental school. Dr. Burr is known for his calm demeanor and patient-centered approach, and he is dedicated to providing high-quality, comfortable dental care. He values building lasting relationships with his patients and strives to create a positive and welcoming experience for individuals of all backgrounds. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Burr enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to his wife, Marlene, and together they recently welcomed their daughter. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors—whether it’s walking his German Shepherd, camping, fishing, snowboarding, or riding dirt bikes. He also has a passion for traveling and exploring new places.

Tien Chau, DDS

Dr. Chau is amazing. Very caring and compassionate. The entire staff was fantastic, and I felt really at ease during my visit. She treated me like family, which made all the difference. I’m really happy I picked this office for my care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Tien Chau was born and raised in Vietnam and moved with her family to San Jose, California during high school. She later made her way to Los Angeles to attend UCLA, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2021, and went on to complete her DDS at the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2026. When she’s not in the office, she likes to stay active- swimming, working out, Pilates, yoga, and occasionally convincing herself she’s brave enough for indoor rock climbing. She also loves cooking, checking out new coffee and tea spots, trying new restaurants, and she can sing! When stress hits, she either deep cleans her house, refolds her clothes , or goes for a drive with her favorite music. In the office, her goal is simple: make you feel comfortable and cared for. She knows the dentist isn’t everyone’s favorite place, so she focuses on creating a relaxed, anxiety-free experience while delivering high-quality care. She treats every patient like family and believes that a positive experience can make all the difference in maintaining a healthy smile.

Dr. Thomas Schuh - Endodontist

I’ve been treated by Dr. Schuh, for over 4 years now and each time it has been a very satisfying experience. His bedside manner is excellent. His dental work is top notch. He is by far the best dentist I’ve every had the pleasure of dealing with. 5 Star rating all the way.

With 30 years in Arizona behind his Hoosier roots, Dr. Schuh brings a wealth of experience to his practice. He practiced as a general dentist for seven years before pursuing his endodontic residency through NYU Langone, driven by a lifelong passion for the high-tech gadgets and specialized technology that power modern dentistry. He joined the team because they share the exact same core priority: putting the patient first. Specializing in toothache relief and saving natural teeth, Dr. Schuh views proper diagnosis as the essential foundation for every personalized treatment plan. Dental anxiety is a hurdle he and his team tackle every single day, so they focus on taking treatment one gentle step at a time. Their ultimate goal is to create a “Super Tranquilo” atmosphere—and Dr. Schuh finds nothing more rewarding than when a nervous patient feels comfortable enough to snooze right through their root canal. Outside the office, Dr. Schuh keeps his message to patients simple and direct: floss! Patients might also be surprised by his adventurous streak—back in the summer of 1997, he worked as a wrangler on a dude ranch in Wyoming.
